It is a great honor to invite you all to participate in the 15th European Nitrogen Fixation Conference (ENFC), which will be held August 31st – September 3rd 2023 in Naples, Italy at the Hotel Royal Continental.

The ENFC is a European based biennial congress that brings together scientists investigating biological N2 fixation (BNF) from different prospects (e.g. biochemistry, microbiology, ecology, plant physiology, etc.).

EPI-CATCH is a COST action with the aim of defining, developing, generating and sharing new breaking knowledge and methodologies for the investigation of epigenetic mechanisms of plant adaptation to environmental stresses driven by climate change.

The Conference will take place in the beautiful city of Parma (Italy). The aim is to disseminate new insights into the epigenetic mechanisms of plant development and adaptation to environmental stresses linked to climate change. Other integrated multi-omics approaches with future perspectives of epigenetic analysis are also welcome. The Event, under the patronage of the Italian Society of Agricultural Genetics (SIGA), is an extraordinary occasion for researchers to disseminate, discuss, and update the latest research in plant epigenetics.

Two sessions are provided: 1) keynote speakers, 2) junior scientists.
The conference will be carried out as a hybrid event, with physical presence as well as live streaming through an online platform.

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the XVI edition of the Congress of the Italian Federation of Life Sciences (FISV), which will take place from 14 to 16 September 2022 in Naples at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Department of Agriculture, located in the historical Reggia di Portici.

Our Federation is presently composed by twenty Scientific Societies representing different aspects of the Life Sciences. I would like to thank them all for having contributed to put together an outstanding programme, aiming at fostering interdisciplinary exchange at the forefront of the life sciences. Internationally renowned scientists from Italy and abroad will present their most recent data; young Italian and foreign scientists will be welcomed to present their research in a highly stimulating and interactive scientific environment.

For this edition of the meeting, we will focus on six broad topics:

• Environmental, Evolutionary and Developmental Biology
• Genetics, Epigenetics and Chromosome Biology
• Genomics, Proteomics and Systems Biology
• Current trends in Biotechnology
• Food and Nutrition
• Health and Disease

Furthermore, a round table will take place on some of the most current aspects and societal implications of the Life Sciences.
